NAB implements new Data Centre Management System and nets productivity gains

In 2006, National Australia Bank sought to improve the facility management of its huge data centre in Victoria. Ken Jarrott, Lead Data Centre Facilities Analyst, knew that productivity in management, floor space, rack space and power could all be improved.

Ken called on FM Innovations (FMI) to diagnose the needs of NAB’s data centre and determine a way of achieving the improvements he wanted.

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) has launched an updated version of its world-leading green star rating tools.

The new versions are now called Green Star–Office Design and Green Star–As Built.
