FM Innovations would like to welcome our newest clients: UniSuper, Reece and IAG.


UniSuper have purchased Aperture Visual Information Manager to satisfy their space management requirements and optimise their area usage. UniSuper are one of Australia's largest superannuation funds. Dedicated to all who work in Australia's higher education and research sector they have over 435,000 members and $25.4 billion in assets (at 31 December 2009). FM Innovations looks forward to a longstanding and beneficial relationship with UniSuper.

Reece have purchased WSMenterprise FM-Works and Property Lease Management software to manage their facilities, assets and sites across Australia. Reece is a major public company and Australia's most successful supplier of plumbing and bathroom products. They have been around for over 85 years and with over 400 stores and over 3500 staff, Reece is an Australian icon. FM Innovations is proud to welcome Reece on board.

Insurance Australia Group (IAG) have purchased WSMenterprise FM-Works, Property and Lease Management and Contract Management to look after all of their facilities, properties, leases and contracts. We have developed a hosted solution for them which means that FMI will host and administer the software at our end. IAG operates some of Australia's leading general insurance brands including NRMA Insurance, CGU, SGIO, SGIC and Swann Insurance. FM Innovations looks forward to a long and beneficial relationship with IAG.

 

FM Innovations Teams up with Traka

FM Innovations has been working with Traka to integrate their intelligent key management cabinets with our Vehicle and Fleet Management Software for some of our tertiary education providers. We look forward to a long and beneficial partnership with Traka as we seek to improve, simplify and streamline our clients business processes for managing their assets. As the Traka key cabinets can be used for vehicle keys, room keys, equipment keys and any other key you can think of, they are ideal to integrate with FM Innovation's WSMenterprise suite.

FM Innovations would like to welcome our newest client: Fortescue Metals.

 

Fortescue is the New Force in Iron Ore and has joined the world's leading producers of iron ore. Since the Company was formed in 2003, its extraordinary growth has been unparalleled. Listed in the S&P/ASX 50 share index, Fortescue has firmly established itself as one of the world's largest producers and sea-borne traders of iron ore. Fortescue Metals are our first client in Western Australia and they will be using the WSMworks module to manage their maintenance, assets and reporting requirements.

 

WSM 4.6 is realeased

The newest upgrade to the WSMenterprise software has just been finished and will be deployed to our clients over the coming months. The most exciting feature of the upgrade is the brand new Contract Management module. Accessed via WSMplannet the new module allows clients to manage their contracts through the entire workflow process, from going out to tender, managing the life of the contract, to reviewing and renewing contracts. A number of enhancements and fixes for a number of our modules have also been included in the upgrade.

As the Holiday Season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and on those who have helped to shape our business in a most significant way. We value our relationship with all our clients, business partners and readers and look forward to working with you in the year to come. Latest Client Upgrades

Victoria University Upgrading from Beims to WSMenterprise

Victoria University are upgrading their Works Management system from Beims to FM Innovations WSMenterprise FM-Work. VU have also recently upgraded to Aperture VWS to manage their Space via the Visual Web Server.

Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE, Contract Management and Vehicle Management

BRIT are currently liaising with the FM Innovations development team to design a new contract management system that will store, track, manage and plan previous, current and future contracts. Vehicle Management is now out of testing and being fully implemented by the FM team at BRIT. Vehicle Management is now available within the WSM software suite. Please contact the FMI head office for more information.

WSM interface integration with Finance One for UMS

FM Innovations has successfully designed a new interface that integrates with accounting package Finance One. This will reduce countless hours of reports and double handling data entry UMS were having. This continues to highlight FM Innovations ability to integrate with other systems on the market.

CQU upgrading to VWS and RRMS

Central Queensland University have recently purchased the Aperture Visual Web Server (VWS) and the Room Relocation Management System (RRMS). VWS will allow CQU to manage all their spacial requirements via the web while the RRMS will significantly reduce time needed to relocate assets within Aperture.

DSE Victoria upgrading to VWS

DSE have just decided to upgrade the the Aperture VWS to manage all their Space requirements via the web. The FM Innovations support team are working closely with the DSE team to ensure all new developments are carefully monitored.

DWLBC SA are going live with their Space Management with Aperture VWS

DWLBC are going live with their Space Management. Director of FM Innovations, Ray Lodge has been overseeing the project and believes DWLBC SA will see significant time and cost savings using Aperture VWS.

 

Become a home sustainable assesor

The Federal Government recently announced the launch of the Home Sustainability Assessment Scheme (HSAS) and the Green Loans Program. Sustainable Footprint has recently been appointed as a training organisation for the Federal Governments HSAS. More than 1,000 people have undertaken the Home Sustainability Assessor training to become accredited by the Association of the Building Sustainability.

Mandatory Disclosure of Commercial Office Building Energy Efficiency

The Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments have recently established the 'National Framework for Energy Efficiency (NFEE), which has proposed the Mandatory Disclosure of Commercial Office Building Energy Efficiency.  Basically these regulations proposed would mean that by 2010 the energy efficiency (NABERS energy ratings) of commercial office buildings or tenancy equal to or over 2,000m2 to be disclosed at the point of sale or lease so that buyers and tenants can compare energy efficiency on a 'like for like' basis.
