WSM 4.5 Release

Installation Process 
The installation process has been streamlined into one MSI (Microsoft Installation) package and allows the Users to select from the list of available applications as to which features they will install. Further details of the installation process can be found in the installation guide that will accompany the Version 4.5 upgrade.

WSMenterprise & WSMindustrial (FM-Work)
Enhancements
- System now adds extra log entries in FM-work management for enhanced information transparency.
- Increased the amount of allowable characters for Asset Group / Types throughout the system.
- Included the capability for searching by ‘Alternative Login' via the User Maintenance screen for convenience.
- Filtered Logins for only ‘Active' Users which improves system security (User Maintenance).
- Added ‘Received Date' on Work Order Classification Information for improved information transparency.
- Added ‘Planned Job Browse' activity to show and hide Planned Jobs details for improved security and focus in WSMenterprise, WSMindustrial and WSMplannet.
Fixes
- Emended the loading of a contact image
- Rectified the issue where Budgets and Contracts could not be removed
- Rectified the Work Order Criticality so it doesn't get exclusively set by the selected Service Type
- Emended issue where ‘Essential Service Measure' where always being flagged as true when generated by planned jobs
- Redressed the calculation of ‘Cost Estimation' and the ‘Charge' amounts
- Fixed the loading of Primary Supplier Contact on Work Orders and emailing to external contractors
- Fixed the ‘Expired Notification' where it is set to false upon the creation of a new Accreditation.
Administration
- Resolved the issue of the inability to save and load System Configuration
- Rectified issues in regards to processing of emails
- Corrected the issue where the application would crash when Work Orders were opened concurrently.
WSMindustrial
Enhancements
- The Default Cost Allocation which is defined at the Client Contract level is now reflected when creating any new Ad-Hoc Work Requests
- Added the functionality to set Default Cost Allocation for the selected Client on Work Orders for drill-down purposes.
Fixes
- Resolved the issue where priorities were not loading when based on the Client Contract Selected
- Fixed the Site search parameters in Reports so they can be selected without first selecting the Client
- The Work Order Rate button when clicked is fixed and the application continues to run.
WSM Reports 
FM Innovations have designed a new section within WSM called WSMreports2. This new format is more user friendly and contains a vast array of reports.

Enhancements
- The new Reports Management (WSMreports2) now includes the ability to create user-defined reports and increases the flexibility in defining reports
- Now any report can be scheduled to run when required
- A new standard report has been created called Work Order Summary Report.
Fixes
- Rectified the issue when printing a ‘Planned Job' report
- Amended the report ‘Weekly Inquiry by Type' to be filtered by Service Type
- Resolved inconsistencies in ‘Room Booking Detail' Report in terms of dates and calculations
- Amended and fixed the issue where the first Log entry for a Work Order is not shown in the corresponding Work Order Log Report
- Resolved the ‘Work Order In Progress' report not showing corresponding attached assets.

- To increase flexibility the scheduler has been modified to allow it to generate a planned job based on the set date in the future.

WSMproperty
Enhancements
- A Portfolio Overview summary screen has now been includedto give you a quick overview of the status of the portfolio
- Within the Contacts screen the email addresses for each contact will activate and open up a new Outlook email which includes the contacts address
- The Terms & Options and Rent Reviews tabs have been combined and now both appear on the same screen for easy reference
- Under the Lease Details tab the Current-Further Options now includes a summary of the options (number of years).
- To assist with rental forecasting a new report has been created and is now available in WSMreports2 under the Property Section.
- Contacts are now hyperlinked within the system with the subject line automatically generated
Fixes
- Resolved the issue where changing the screen DPI setting caused information to be truncated.
- Fixed the issue where clicking on the scrollbar of grids resulted in opening a new window
- Rectified the issue when running WSMproperty from WSMenterprise causes unspecified path error
- The Lease Names in Reports is now listed in alphabetical order
REM
Fixes
- Amended the process of editing status' of Recurring Bookings.
- Resolved the selected work order and room booking Date fields so they cannot be set in the past.
- Fixed the error message when a Recurring Booking was loaded into REM.
Vehicle Management
Enhancement to WSMplannet
A new module has been developed and added to WSMplannet which allows employees to book their journeys via vehicles (rail or taxi) in the available company pool of vehicles. The Vehicle Management System enables those administrating this process to manage more effectively and efficiently the whole booking process. Document Library
A Document Library is now available in WSMplannet
which enable you to search, view and export documents contained in the
WSMenterprise or WSMindustrial database.
NOTE: For WSMindustrial Users the above instructions
apply only you will need to specify the Client, the Client Contract and
Region as part of your filter.
Administration Enhancements
Administration - Alternative Login Search
Within the User Maintenance Screen, Users can now be filtered on by using a Users Alternative Login ID. Note that the primary User ID remains unchanged for the purpose of data integrity and consistency; however the Alternative Login ID can be modified.
Active Users
You can now filter and select Active Users in the User Maintenance screen so that only current active Users are displayed in the list.
Work Order Received Date
The Work Orders now has a new field which records the date Received; this is the date when work was requested by the Requestor. This field is located on the Work Order Details screen under the Classification Information tab. This date distinguishes its self from the system generated Created date. The created date recorded will either be exactly the same date and time or it will be prior to the date Received. This new inclusion will be very useful if KPI's are an integral part of your organisations performance measures as you will be able to make comparison between when a formal request for work was made and when a work order was created in the system.
Planned Job Browse
Improve security now allows a new activity called Planned Job Browse. This can be added to your Security Groups which will then enable others to only view Planned Jobs created in FM-Work. This applies to WSMenterprise, WSMindustrial and WSMplannet Users.
WSMreports2
Reports Management

All the reporting functions can now be managed from the one location, thus simplifying and enhancing the reporting process. WSMreports2 can be access via WSMenterprise or WSMindustrial under the
Reporting tab. Reports can also be accesses and run via WSMplannet. Reports can now be:
- Run
- Exported to CSV
- Imported as XML
- Deleted
- Created as a Custom Report
- Scheduled
IMPORTANT NOTE: The ability to view and run reports is directly controlled by a Users Security Group Access.
The reports are categorised on the left pane of the Reports Management Screen and by clicking on a report heading it displays a number of related reports. Each of these reports then has their relevant search parameters. Once these parameters have been selected then the report can be Run or Imported. Clicking on the Delete button at the bottom of the screen and this will remove the selected report.
Clicking on Custom Reports allows the creation of user-defined Reports via a reports building tool, where a data source, data fields and design layouts can be specified.

Scheduling Reports
Any report can now be scheduled and the results will be emailed to one or more people. To create a new report schedule select the report to be scheduled and select the search parameters (as required) and click on the Schedule button. From here, the User can set the Scheduling Details and Report Output parameters.
The list of all scheduled reports can be viewed by clicking on the ‘Schedule List'. The User can edit or delete a report schedule.
New Work Order Summary Report
A new standard report has been added to WSMenterprise and WSMindustrial which will enable you to run a report which provides you with a list of all the current Ad-hoc, Planned Jobs and Work Orders (FM-Work & REM related) which currently have not been assigned another workflow status and are currently standing at New Request. These are the work orders that need to be actioned.
Rental Lease Commitments Report
To assist with rental forecasting a
new report has been created and is now available in WSMreports2 under
the Property Section. In order to change the % amount for this report
you will need to go into WSMproperty and under the Configuration
section type in the new % amount at which the report will then run at.
WSMplannet
There have been a number of enhancements made with in WSMplannet version 4.5. As part of the standard functionality with in WSMplannet there is now a new reporting facility and an updated dashboard. For the product modules (REM & Vehicle Management System) there has been some enhancements, these include being able to make booking in half hour intervals in REM while the brand new Vehicle Management System is a comprehensive vehicle booking and administration tool which is able to assist with fleet management in your organisation.
New Look WSMplannet Dashboard
There is a new look Summary Dashboard which now appears on the screen when you first log into WSMplannet. If you run your curser over some of the heading in Work Order Summary and Planned Jobs they will turn green, if this is the case you can click on this heading to open up the detail screen.

WSMreport2 via WSMplannet
The WSMreports2 reports including custom reports can now also be run from WSMplannet just as they can be run from WSMenterprise or WSMindustrial. NOTE: that the reports that can be access and run are determined by the Users Security Group access.

Vehicle Management System Module
This new module is able to management and provides effective administration for your Vehicle booking process via WSMplannet. The functionality includes:

Under the ‘Vehicle Bookings' Menu, Vehicles can be requested by an Employee via WSMplannet for a trip which can then be booked against an available pool/fleet vehicle. Alternatively a Rail or Taxi Voucher can be requested and offered for the same trip if this is viable. Hired vehicles can also be requested if none of the alternatives are suitable or available, the request will then be forwarded to the
Administrator who will then seek approval to authorise a hire vehicle. There is also a number of automatically generated notification emails sent to both the Requestor and Administrator when the status of a booking changes (approved, cancelled, changed booking, keys taken, booking completed)
The Vehicle Management System then returns available vehicles for the selections made in the Request Vehicle.
Requests, Bookings and Vouchers can be viewed via their respective list screens, where they can also be modified. Calendar Views of Bookings are also available to show bookings chronologically by Date. The ‘Vehicle Administration Menu can be viewed by those who have Administrator rights to the Vehicle Management System, this allows them to approve bookings (vehicle, taxi/rail vouchers), record when keys are taken out and returned, processing a request for hire cars, controlling when a vehicle can be booked out as well as the whole process of creating and defining a vehicle (Reference Data) in the system. They can also choose the email notification options and which notifications will be sent for which actions (Configuration Settings).

For example you could set up suitable times which a Managers car could be utilized throughout the week.
